Goutham Balaraman
CTO Crossroads
Goutham Balaraman is the Chief Technology Officer at Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance. With over 20 years of professional experience, Goutham has held various technical leadership roles at fintech companies.
Goutham has applied machine learning to solve problems for different departments such as credit, sales, and capital markets. He gained a unique perspective by modeling prepayment and loss models for mortgage portfolios during the 2008 financial crisis. His work has been widely recognized, and he has numerous publications and white papers to his credit.
Goutham holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and kids.

VP of IS, Tokyo Century
Moto Tohda is the VP of Information Systems at Tokyo Century (USA) Inc., where he oversees the entire IT for the US operations of a global company, Tokyo Century Corporation.
As Moto wears many hats, his past IT initiatives are in security, disaster recovery, and many implementations of ERP-related systems, always striving to balance business objectives with IT initiatives.
His newest endeavor is to bring data back to users' hands as more access and control to their data drives creativity, leading to innovation.
